You are standing in the middle of endless hectares of unspoiled flats. No other fisherman around. You are the only fishing pressure... The warm and crystal clear water caress your calfs.

You cast for the first one. Good cast, good presentation. The bone is coming gently to take your fly.

You set the hook. Fish is on. Everything is close to explode. The tip of your rod can't be closer from the handle. The reel is turning like a drill. The fisherman... 

Your line is already far away. Have you got enough backing?

It took you a long time to land those 9 lb. of dynamite. This is a current size. Common bones are in the 6 to 10 pounds range. Larger fish are more often caught than smaller. And, we don’t know the reason, but our guest say that at same size, bonefish fight much more here than anywhere else in the world.

Bonefishes on the flats, but not only... A sand cloud in the water ? It's a school of nice golden trevalies feeding on the bottom. A dark submarine coming to you ? It's a monster GT searching for something to eat...

From the boat ? It's full of Trevalies, Spanish Mackerel, Queen Fish, Snappers, jacks and much more great fishes...

Fishing is done for trophy fish rather than number of small fishes. Several fishes larger than registered world records have already been landed. But we don't really care.  

The most important is : virtually all our guest caught the largest fishes of their life and have beaten their personal records.

All those fish are powerful. So do not expect to fish with a fly rod less than a number 8. A number 10 is a good all around rod. For a specific quest for big trevalies and other large fish, a number 11 or 12 is required . The reels must contain at least 300 meters of backing.

Our boats are perfectly adapted to our water. Your guide know his job and will be more than helpfull for your success.

We accept only a very few fishermen. Why ? Because unspoiled water added to very large fishes and marvelous sceneries make ultimate pleasure.

Accomodation is currently at Relais de Poingham. A few meters walk for boat departure. Except if you are coming for shopping, You will appreciate the place and his food.

Non fishing guest are welcome and will enjoy nature, swimming... or just relaxing.
